Getting Started with the Hardin County Foundation

            Now that we began to kick it into full gear with Social Media Strategy & Campaign, me and my partner Zach have been communicating directly with the Hardin County Foundation about what work needs to be done for them. I’m very excited to get started because I feel that collectively we will all achieve what we desire. I’m hoping to get a glimpse of what it would be like to work with social media in a professional field or industry, and I think this project will do just that.

Diving a little deeper into the Hardin County Foundation, I feel as if our business/foundation stands out amongst the rest. Not taking away from what everyone else is working on, but the Hardin County Foundation has little to no social media presence or impact, so we’re essentially starting from scratch. It will be unique to Zach and me specifically, so I can’t wait to get the ball rolling with this project. In our recent discussion with the organization, we suggested a few ideas to them, such as creating some sort of graphic for each board member and trustee. I think this would be a great place to start, because it is not something that is too difficult but will be very beneficial to the Hardin County Foundation in regard to being visually appealing on their website.

            In summary, this class and project is something that I am looking forward to tremendously, and I can not wait to see what I learn from this and how I will be able to apply it to my professional career going forward. I wish everyone else the best of luck with their businesses or organizations as well!
